Black Friday isn't here yet but that hasn't stopped vendors from lowering prices on some of our favorite hardware. We know it isn't always easy to recognize when a deal is genuine, so we're highlighting at least one notable deal each weekday.

We use third-party applications like PCPartPicker to help evaluate price history between vendors and recommend our readers do the same as these deals could change any minute. Today we're sharing a discount on the Gigabyte G27QC monitor.

Gigabyte G27QC 27-Inch Curved 165Hz: was $319, now $259 @Newegg

To secure this deal, you'll need to use promo code 2BFSTNW257. This display features a 1500R curved design and has a resolution of 1440p. The refresh rate can get as high as 165Hz, with support for VESA Adaptive Sync for variable refresh rates.

Aimed at the mid-tier market, Gigabyte's G27QC is AMD FreeSync Pro certified. Accordingly, it offers a speedy response rate of 1ms, as well as low framerate compensation support when using variable refresh. This monitor is even listed as "HDR ready", though it should be noted that it isn't listed as being DisplayHDR certified.

The G27QC can be mounted to an arm or wall using a 100mm x 100mm VESA wall mount. It has two built-in 2 Watt speakers, saving a little desk space if you want to avoid separate speakers. You can use USB, DisplayPort or HDMI inputs to attach peripherals or connect video input.

Go to the Gigabyte G27QC product page on Newegg for more details and checkout options.

The backlight and the color rendition is not as nice as the sheets suggests, also the conectivity options are mingle for the princepoint. Better and cheaper options available, also suffers from barrel distortion on the curved surface. That's why. Reply
