$80 premium for wireless and wireless charging? GTFO Logitech. If you're actually serious about making wireless mice more than a gimmick, bring the damn price down to reasonable levels.
Wireless mice are a gimmick? Anyone who is not in the pro gaming space (I'm looking at you every single amateur gamer) should be using wireless. Cable drag is getting you killed way more often than latency.
I would love to meet the person who can really make use of the full 16,000 dpi resolution. That resolution equals 1.6 micrometers/dot. Whose hands are that precise? I get the speed and acceleration specs, especially for gaming, but maybe the prices could have been a bit (or more than a bit) lower if the mice "only" resolved 3,000 or 4,000 dpi?
There is a term in optics (especially in microscopy) that comes to mind:
wasn't finished (damn keypad): There is a term in optics (especially in microscopy) that comes to mind: empty magnification. I think this is what those 16,000 dpi are.

The article isn't quite clear or accurate here. The wireless model is completely unique, there is no wired variant (at least launching now). The wired mouse they are referring to is using the older G Pro shell with some internal changes (sensor and switches).

Why do they keep making this mouse? Isn't it like the third time in a couple of years they've made basically this exact mouse?I like that they're improving battery life but how about a proper mouse wheel (tilting and free scroll available) and more than two thumb buttons?
