Approximately when will we see this HP Omen system get a refresh with Ryzen 5000-series CPU's and Radeon RX 6000-series GPU's? One of these systems with a Ryzen 9 5900X/5950X CPU and a Radeon RX 6000-series GPU would be awesome!
Never thought about that. Intel 10nm is basically nonexistent on the desktop and Nvidia 7nm products are only in the datacenter. AMD really is the only one with 7nm consumer desktop chips. With RDNA2, this is now AMD's 7th 7nm product family that they have launched.
Yep, it's a shame to not see AT doing this, I wanted to learn about what AMD RDNA2 had from uArch perspective and Nvidia as well. It's utter disaster, reviewing that Apple bga thin and light b.s but no sign of the ultimate competitive GPU launches, no Nvidia no AMD.
Honestly I'd have loved to see an "architecture thoughts and notes" piece even if it had 0 benchmarks. I love AT benchmarks but the review notes and comments are why I'm here, even if I had to look other places for numbers this one time.
They need all the sponsorship they can get, they can't even get out a preliminary review of a hot new GPU launch. Oh well, I still prefer them over that OTHER big Purch site... I used to defend them but they've gone way downhill recently.

LOL Are AT readers really the kind of people who buy a pre-configured desktop, let alone one from HP?patel21 - Tuesday, November 24, 2020 - link

From experience most good deals from official channels are flash sales or something close.Alexvrb - Sunday, November 29, 2020 - link
